New York City, Scotland…

For my music, NYC and it’s stages meant everything. I wrote most of my debut album in NYC, performed my first solo shows and collected invaluable musical and personal experience.
One of those great stages is the Sidewalk Cafe (pic above) which hosts NYC’s longest-running open mike. Legendary Lach was hosting it when I first got to NYC; on his last day of hosting he got up on stage with me and we played “Guys With Guitars” (see the Sidewalk at the End!) together – the song written about and dedicated to the guys with guitars, at the open mike at the Sidewalk Cafe. I am very happy to see him and play on his Antihoot night again on Thursday August 18th 2011 – just this time we’re in Edinburgh for the Edinburgh Fringe at the Gilded Ballon! How amazing!
If you get the chance, definitely go to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe! It is the largest arts festival in the world and takes place every August for three weeks in Scotland’s capital city!
I can’t wait!
